Nonna feeling in the middle of Zurich Central.
The Commihalle has been famous for generations for good homemade Italian specialties, Tavolata, Jazz & Classical music.
For the iconic restaurant, I was allowed to lead the reorientation and bring the restaurant with the refresh back to the top restaurants in Zurich.
With the refurbishment, we made the Commihalle become more authentic again and create a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Italian trattoria.
Due to the tiny budget, most of the restaurant was refreshed with the existing furniture and repainted and reorganized in a sustainable way.

A new visual language that puts the homemade specialties in a better light. Authentic, genuine and hearty.
Simple, elegant, and down-to-earth. Just like the Commihalle is. A new corporate identity was created for the new restaurant, which perfectly highlights the new era.
